Ingredients:
  • 2 cup Pride of India’s Brown rice flour

  • 1.5 tablespoon sugar 

  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • A pinch of Himalayan salt

  • 1 cup milk 

  • 1 egg 

  • 1 tablespoon Pride of India’s Black chia seeds 

  • 2 tablespoon butter or oil

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Topping with sweeteners and fruits and chocolate chips 

Directions:
  1. In a bowl, mix together the brown rice flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chia seeds until well combined. 

  2. Add to dry ingredients, egg, milk, little butter and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir until just combined. 

  3. Lightly grease a non-stick pan with butter or oil and heat over medium heat.

  4. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the pan or each pancake. Cook until bubbles appear on the top and the edges look set. Then,  Flip carefully with a spatula and cook another side

  5. Now stack these pancakes on a plate and serve warm with your mom’s favorite toppings!

  • 1 cup Pride of India's dried red lentils, soaked & rinsed 

  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1-2 tablespoons minced onion

  • 1 cup carrot, chopped

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 2 teaspoons Himalayan salt, adjust as needed

  • 1 teaspoon seafood spice rub (start small)

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 4 cups water or vegetable broth

  • Chaat masala, for tanginess

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

Directions:
  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.  Add minced onion, carrot, and minced garlic, and saute until softened and fragrant. 

  • Stir in tomato paste and salt. Cook for another 2-3 mins. Add the seafood spice mix and other spices, mix well. 

  • Add soaked split red lentils and 4 cups liquid Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes or more until lentils are tender.Adjust spiced and seasonings if needed. Serve hot, topped with a sprinkle of chaat masala and freshly chopped cilantro.
