Halloween Recipes 2025

1. Stuffed Jack O’ Lanterns with Red Lentils & Quinoa 

Perfect for Halloween dinners, themed parties, or festive gatherings, these stuffed Jack O’ Lantern peppers are fully customizable. Fill them with your choice of ingredients like ground beef, creamy cheese, spices along with red quinoa, masur lentils to create a  festive Halloween dinner!

Ingredients:

  1. In a saucepan, combine rinsed quinoa, soaked lentils, and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes until tender. Set aside.

  2. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove seeds. Carefully carve Jack O’ Lantern faces into the sides for a spooky touch.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onion, garlic, and vegetables until soft (7 mins). Stir in tomato sauce, lemon chili pepper seasoning, and salt.

  4. Add cooked quinoa and lentils to the sautéed mixture. Mix thoroughly and cook 2–3 more minutes to blend flavors, adding a splash of water if needed.

  5. Fill each pepper with the quinoa-lentil mixture and replace the tops. Bake at 180ºC (350ºF) for 25 minutes until the peppers are tender.

2. Halloween Dip using Indian Red Lentils 

Give your Halloween vegan dip a festive touch! Using our split red lentils and lemon chili pepper seasoning to the blend for a tangy, spicy kick. For a fun Halloween presentation, top with a sour cream spider web design - just drizzle sour cream in a circular pattern and drag a toothpick from the center outwards to create a creepy-crawly effect.

Halloween  Treats and Baking Ideas 

1. Spooky Halloween Brown Rice Flour Cookies (with Chia Egg)

Ingredients:

  1. In a bowl (or using an electric blender), add the butter and sugar. Whisk for 2 minutes until soft and creamy.

  2. Add the chia egg, turmeric spice mix and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

  3. Add brown rice flour, baking soda, and Himalayan salt. Mix gently to form a dough.

  4. Roll out the dough and cut into spooky Halloween shapes using cookie cutters.

  5. Place the dough in a covered bowl and let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

  6. Preheat the oven to 150ºC (300ºF). Bake the cookies for 7–10 minutes.

  7. For crunchier cookies, return them to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes at 150ºC.

  8. Decorate with white sugar frosting and pumpkin-colored icing for that spooky, crunchy Halloween vibe!

2. Lemon Chia Muffins

For a wholesomeness, try replacing coconut flour with brown rice flour, or use a blend of both. The white chia seeds adds structure and moisture, while the lemon provides a refreshing zing. This lemon chia muffin recipe is perfect for a Halloween baking treat for morning or a spooky snack.

  4. Pour the spiced milk mixture over the coffee. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of extra turmeric spice mix, if desired
